I know the stance the majority of people on here take, e-vites are the tackiest thing since typed thank you cards. Alas, I did them anyway. I felt strongly about doing e-vites for a number of reasons, the most important of which being the environment and the cost of invitations.
I designed my e-vites through paperlesspost and sent them out last night. I found it scary to hit the send buton even though I had proofread them for 2 days. I woke up this morning to a reason e-vites are great, I already have 50 people RSVP’d yes and 1 person RSVP’d no. I love that the responses are so immediate.
I didn’t write this so people would debate the merrits of paper vs electronic, I wrote it so people considering e-vites will have some feedback from someone who actually did it.

OMG I just did mine 2 days ago too!…I have already had over 50% of people respond yes! Some of the emails went to their place of work so being Monday I expect more responses today…I totally love this whole e invite thing…I got 2 cute little cards with 2 separate lists of people…one for the whole day and another for just the reception…the program tracks all replies and helps a lot with keeping track of numbers….also I can post a message to everyone at once if I need to update anything like where to stay or park etc…I am addicted to this site now & will probably use it in the future! I used Punchbowl:)

I am glad you have had success with it too! I love the tracking feature, I can see as soon as someone opens the invite or if it wasn’t able to be delivered.
