I am really irritated with Target’s online registry.  It is SOOOOO slow to load.

I wouldn’t worry about the items that don’t show a description online. A lot of people go to the store and print up a registry there without ever looking ahead online. Those people might buy those items once they see them in person.

I hate how slow the page is to load too. : ( It’s the one thing about the new website that irks me.

I HATE THE TARGET REGISTRY I have emailed and called almost a hundred times because I can’t log in to my registry online but I can edit it in store and I don’t want to start over. It really sucks that I like so much stuff there 🙁

Oh no! I LOOOOOVED my target registry. I had a Macys one too and handsdown loved Target better.

I haven’t registed yet, but as a guest: I love Target registries. I’ve never done it online, so I can’t say anything about that. But the printed copies in the stores list not only the items but where you can find that item in the store. Why don’t all registries do that?!? It makes life so much simpler. And I find Target employees to be very helpful. Yeah Target! That being said, I’ve never worked with their online registry so I don’t know how that works. But good luck. And don’t stress. Guests will have plenty to choose from so if they think they need a picture they can pick another item.

Oh my god.  I just deleted our Target registry last week.  They have been nothing but trouble.  We didn’t know we needed to set it up online before coming to the store so the snotty customer service people in the store had an attitude with us.  (Bed Bath and Beyond had us sit down and fill everything out!)  The next time we went there, all the terminals didn’t work and we were told to wait by one and they’d call a tech to fix it.  Stood around for 20-30 minutes waiting before we complained and they finally looked it up for us.  Then the damn gun wasn’t charged.  It’s just always been a hassle with them… in store or online (takes forever to load and most times it says something is down and to try again later).

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Target and thought it would be a great alternative to Macy’s or Crate and Barrel to go for a lower price point.

I heard a lot of bad things about the Target registry. That’s why we didn’t register there. I love Target otherwise!

Did they randomly add baby items to your registry yet? That seems to be another common complaint.

I as a gift giver, on the other hand, can never find someone’s Target registry! It always tells me the people don’t exist, even though I know for sure they registered at Target.

  We’ve had some problems with our Target registry. Items will say they’re not available in store, but when I go to our Target store, nearly everything is available there! We also have had items disappear. However, if I click the “preview registry” button, the items are magically back. WTF?

  We chose Target because we love the store and they offered a few other items that Macy’s and BB&B did not have. I still love Target, just not their registry…or their website, for that matter!

Im sorry for this post not being helpful in the slightest but this is exactly why we didn’t register at Target.  I’ve heard so many horror stories! I hope it all gets straightened out for you ASAP.

Ours was bad too. Besides the fact when I logged onto it Fiance had registered for vampire teeth and a ninja sword without me knowing. Laughing

Yeah, I had problems too.  First of all most of the products became out of stock so then I would have to choose something else that I didn’t like as much or not nothing to replace it.  Second we got 6 duplicates.  I’m not sure how that happened but now we have to lug all that stuff to target and get a refund or something else.   I do like the merchandise though.  High quality.
