I think they are fine just the way they are. What will likely make it more wow for you is the way that you arrange them in a basket or other vessel. Just laid out like that on the table looks plain, but I'm thinking that's likely not the way you're going to do it at the wedding.
I like them! I was just thinking about making some myself. Not to ask a dumb question, but is there a special envelope you used? Do you just slide the tissues in there from a big box? lol I am sure I could look this up. lol
@Katielee: Thanks! They are called glassine envelopes. I used travel tissue because then you don't have to fold them. The travel tissue fits perfectly! Here's a nice tutorial... http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/05/25/diy-tears-of-joy-tissues/
I think they look really cute! I agree with EsqBailey, putting them in a cute basket might change your perspective on them.
Or, you might think about changing the label- the names are a little off-center. You could put a sign on your basket that said "For your tears of joy", and then on the label just do your names or a cute monogram of your initials. Maybe you could even do an accent color circle around the label?
I think they are great! you dont want to have everything too over done!
@amw511s Thanks! I think I will give it a try. Like I need to add anything else to my DIY plate.
Maybe try putting the label on the other side of the envelope? That may help them look less busy. Very cute :)
those are a great idea. i might need to do somethinh like that for mine
I know everyone analyzes their own projects to death, and the people that come to your wedding will pick them up and say awww how sweet or oh these are really cool! They will use them and it will be over! Don't stress so much about it, they look great!!!
I really like them! I actually was thinking of doing mine that way! What size are the sticker labels?
Those are REALLY well done. Arrange them in a nice basket with matching navy ribbon tied around it and don't stress anymore.
They look great to me.
I think your guests will probably be more impressed that you have them (I've never been to a wedding with them) then judging them.
I think they look great but if you want you should consider trying to jazz them up with some silk petals or something in the wedding colors :)
The look great!! Don't do anything else, just pop those babies in a pretty basket and walk away ;-D
I agree, they look great! I think your just getting nervous and starting to over analyze ;) I know, I am starting to do that too lol.
Thanks for the kind words, bees! I think I may ressurect this project!

Hi bees! I'm not sure I like my tears of joy packets. They were very cheap to make. I used DIY labels from Hobby Lobby and printed them myself with a template from the package. The labels come in packs of 24 and only cost $.50! Incredible deal. But my concern is that they look cheap. What do you think? Any advice for how I can spruce them up a bit? Sorry for the crappy phone pic...
