My bridesmaids are planning my shower, which I am so thankful for. When I asked them to be in the wedding, I wasn’t even thinking about a shower. Most of them are long distance, but they’re doing the best they can planning from far away.
We started thinking it would be fun to drive to a winery that’s about 30 min away, have a tasting, have some food, and that’d be nice. Now, the winery won’t let us bring food inside, so they’re looking at a restaurant to go to afterward.
Meanwhile, I’m currently living with my Fiance in a HUGE house. We’re trying to sell it (it’s too big for us and too far from town), but will definitely still be here through the wedding. I’ve floated the idea a few times to just have it here, but they keep going after the winery. I absolutely thought the winery sounded great before there would be a restaurant involved. I really don’t want all of the bridesmaids to be shelling out a pretty penny for this either.
Do I try to nix the winery, or just go with it, because that’s what they’re planning?
