haha well I know it's very different. I actually tried on a dress that had a top like that, and the skirt was all lace, it was soo beautiful.
but I have interesting taste too... I wouldn't expect everyone to like it.
I personally would never wear a see-through top because it's not my style, but if you like it...who cares!! Does the dress come in white? or would you get it in cream? Some of the dresses like that on Say Yes to the Dress are in white and they look really nice on the brides!
Well, I already have my dress- I just love this designer. But if I were to ever wear it, I'd keep it in the dark color. My wedding dress isn't white either.
i'm not a fan of the partially see through top, but thats just on me, i think it looks good on other people though, and i love dresses that are different! any pix of you in it??
I think the dress is beautiful, but for my own wedding, I'd prefer a more conservative top. If the corset was not transparent, I'd probably wear it! I'd be envious of a person who could really rock that dress though.
Great runway dress definitely not my style especially for a church wedding ha Imagine walking into church with that thing on. On the other hand I've seen some episodes of Say Yes to the Dress where a girl bought a Torna dress with the semi-see through top I didn't like that dress at all, but to each their own.
Well, I really like the color... but I'm not a fan of the top at all. Not only because it's see through, but the lace/embroidery or whatever that embellishment is doesn't seem to match anything else on the dress, you know?
@chimpmunk- do you remember the episode where the girl bought one of those dresses but she kept complaining because she wanted the CUPS to be the same shear material as the torso? What the heck!?
I don't know! I wonder if she didn't even think it through, like she somehow didn't make the connection that shear cups = free show, lol!
I am super-far from a prude, but I can't imagine wearing that dress in public, on my wedding day. Those Pnina dresses are so expensive, but IMHO, they look like wedding dresses for Vegas Showgirls.
HAHAH that was a great episode though I laughed so hard. I mean there's a line between classy chic and different and then just plain trashy. She cearly didn't know the difference. I mean if you want to wear a semi-see through dress cool whatever, but at least have respect for a religious ceremony, which I think she did have a church wedding.
I really don't like the sheer top trend. And I don't really like pickup trend either.
I saw that episode on Say Yes To The Dress too where the girl got the Pnina Tornai dress and complained all the time... I like Pnina dresses, but I think the problem with a lot of her dresses is that they have too many things going on at once.
And I like the semi-sheer top because it's so different from traditional, I would do it.
When I tried on the one in the bridal shop that had a sheer top, they said they could put lining on the inside if you wanted it. I think my family and pastor would freak if I wore even a slightly sheer top. But I still like it haha.

ok ok I already have my dress, and I'm not reconsidering or anything, but I love St. Pucchi dresses and on occasion I check out her line because they're so beautiful.
I saw this one, and it's very unique and different, but I honestly love it. Just wanna see if anyone else does :)
