I just realized that I completely forgot to get corsages for my mom and FMIL! I am DIY-ing the bouts and bouquets but was going to buy the corsages. Oh well, it’s too late now, but I am going to have to apologize to the mothers!

Oh, I wouldn’t worry about it! We didn’t do corsages, and all of the mothers were fine. Also, happy almost wedding day! Yay!

If that’s your forgotten item, you’re doing pretty good! I wouldn’t worry about it! Have a fantastic wedding day!

Don’t worry too much! My mom and mil both requested no corsages cause they get in the way. Have a great wedding day!

Same here – we actually left them at the house! So they didn’t have them at the wedding, but they didn’t care 🙂

Glad to know I’m not alone with no corsages. I’m just happy because this will be my one forgotten thing, and it’s better than other things that could have been forgotten!

If you do want to do it you could always pick up corsages same day from most florists. Grocery stores in our area have a floral department where they always have a half dozen or so corsages ready to go at all times.

Or if you have someone crafty, they’re not too hard to make.

@beachbride1216: Hmm, I don’t think I have ever seen that around here, but then again I have never been looking for them. I’ll take a peek today if I have time. But if not I’m not that worried about it.

If you can delegate it to a Maid/Matron of Honor. There are TONS of You Tube vids. Shouldn’t take more than 30 mins or so to make w/silk flowers. Also try a local supermarket that may have a flower section……..I’m sure they can whip something up really quick.

We didnt have them. Both mothers were ok with it.

Any florist can make you one-or two- in 15 minutes or so. Phone, explain, send someone to pick them up.

I don’t think we’re doing them. I don’t like them at all anyway, and then I’d have to make one for my mother, and ugh…no thanks. I don’t want her there at all as-is.

As @julies1949: has said, Corsages aren’t that difficult or time consuming to make. You should be able to get one or two even on short notice. And, I too have seen them at times in Grocery Store Florists floral cases as well. Honestly, worth 10 to 15 minutes on the phone IMO (Moms & Grammas deserve to be honoured / recognized / pampered in this way)
