Ugh. What a terrible feeling.

I was very lucky and didn’t run into this, but I can totally understand. I’ll be thinking good thoughts for a highly successful pick up tomorrow! Did they call you and tell you it’s in, or was it a set thing when you ordered it?

@lilmiss26: Joy :-/

Are you going to just take it without the pressing?

@lilmiss26: I would take it somewhere that you feel comfortable with ASAP. Be careful demanding things as many people have posted on different threads that being polite can get you a lot farther. I totally understand your frustration, but they have what you ultimately want in their control. Maybe freak out on them once you have the dress in your possession…

@lilmiss26: Don’t worry about freaking honey, it’s what we’re here for. Here’s what I recommend: get the dress, in hand, before anything else. Be as calm and as matter of fact as you can be. You’ll have your contract in hand. If it isn’t pressed, consider showing them where in the contract it states the dress will be pressed, then tell them you want the amount a pressing costs to be refunded to you immediately. If they won’t do it, just leave it alone. Your alterations person will do that, and I wouldn’t trust these people with my dress either. Then absolutely leave them a bad review. The less contact you have with these people, the better.

The thing is, its no use worrying now. Wait til you have a problem, then worry about it.
