wrkbrk:  Sorry you’re going through this. Have you and your wife considered maybe her carrying the baby instead?

wrkbrk:  I’m sorry you got bad news. Have you guys considered in vitro? That way they will know they have a healthy egg to work with.

I’m sorry to hear this!  Try and stay positive, and hopefully your test results will be better than expected!

I found the following book very informative and helpful in regards to egg health. I highly recommend it. I can’t say for sure if there is actually a correlation, but I followed the advice in the book and finally got pregnant after a year and a half of trying. I also did a ton of research on decreased egg quality and ovarian reserve and I do feel that this is something we can improve. I loved the videos and info from the Center for Human Reproduction too. I wish you the best of luck in your TTC journey!

wrkbrk:  No real experience or words of advice. Just wanted  to say I’m sorry your levels are low, but don’t get too worked up. Wait to see what the other tests show, it might not be a problem. And, even if it is, there are other options! Worry doesn’t help anything and just stresses you out, so try to take a deep breath and put it out of your mind unil you get your other results!

wrkbrk:  I worked in a fertility lab doing lots of AMH testing. While your AMH is on the low side, an Ovarian Reserve Assessment will give you a better over picture of what’s going on. Women with <0.1 AMH’s have gotten pregnant.

wrkbrk:  your physician may order an US depending on his own protocol. I was in the lab, so we would do 5 tests to assist a doctor in making a determination about your reserve. Your AMH, Inhibin B, FSH, LH, and Estradiol would be tested on one blood draw.
