@marytinoco:  So sorry.  It is the worst when you can’t find something.  Especially when it is so sentimental.  I hope it turns up.

Well, it sounds like it HAS to be there somewhere, but that’s terrible! And my biggest fear. Hope this all goes well for you and you find it. Do you have a dog or cat or anything that could have accidentally ingested it?

@marytinoco:  I’m so sorry!  Do you have any pets?  That just doesn’t seem to make any sense!  If he put it on the dresser, it HAS to be somewhere in the vacinity unless there are pets or other people living with you who could have moved it.  Good luck, I hope the fifth time is the charm!

@marytinoco:  Do you have a cat or dog? Your pet might have liked the shinies too… Did you have it insured?

My BIL lost his ring last summer. He was convinced it was in the swimming pool or yard. We had five or six people looking in the pool and a few more in the yard with a metal detector. My mom found it the next day in the dryer. It apparently slipped off when he was transferring some clothes over.

It has to be somewhere in your house! Do you have any pets that may have gotten an expensive snack? I’d be checking their backyard deposits if you do.

Good luck!

@marytinoco:  What about a vent? Is there a vent on the floor near the dresser…? Boooo 🙁 Hope you find it.

Was it insured?

I does sound like it should turn up……. Don’t lose hope just yet!

I once lost my ring (not my e-ring, but another ring that my mother gave me) for 2 days! It ended up being under the seat in my SO’s dad’s car… You never know!

Stop looking take a deep breath and it will turn up. It does not sound like it could have gone too far and honestly just hold off on looking for a few days. Also…Did you look in the drawers in the clothes. Check vents too.

Have you checked things like a laundry basket, garbage basket or washing machine? Things appear in the weirdest places 😐 good luck finding it, hope it shows up soon!
