I don’t have any pics of me in the dress (my MOH is slackin’ on sending me the photos she took πŸ˜‰ ), but I almost bought this A-Line lace dress:

Not a ballgown, but close!

This is mine! It’s technically a mermaid, but the poof is so big that it reminds me of a hybrid ballgown.

It’s by lazaro.

Mine is sorta hard to see, but the bodice has lace under the embroidery:

it’s the Cameo by Augusta Jones. Oh, and the skirt is taffeta πŸ™‚

@OoOTifsterOoO: I just looooove the little lace bolero besides your GORGEOUS dress! Did you opt for the bolero, too?

RR: Yes! It’s too pretty not to! Plus I hate my arms, so it’s just perfect to cover them up. Can’t wait till she comes in!! πŸ™‚

@OoOTifsterOoO: I feel in love with the Pronovias Pergamino, but it’s unfortunately a bit out of my budget, so I am not going to try it on.  But, I LOVE the lace look and hope that I can find that in an Enzoani and possibly order extra tulle to make a jacket as well : )  Your dress is stunning, I’m a sucker for all these lace gowns!

RR: thanks so much! Lace is my weakness :). That’s a great idea– I don’t think it should be too difficult because the jacket really is a simple layer of rectangle lace sewn at the two ends to become sleeves. It’s definitely do-able. And, there are definitely some enzoani’s that capture that same romantic ballgown feel. πŸ™‚ Best of luck!

@blushandbashful: this is more of a trumpet/drop waist ballgown…mermaid would be at the knee. Mine is at the mid-tight…..so it’s mermaid/trupet. It’s beutiful!
