I think it's hard to ask other people what they thing of the dress you love. Everyone has different ideas as to what looks good to them. That's why there's ssooo many different types of wedding gowns. This honestly, is not something I would pick for myself, it's just not me. BUT if you love it and you look awesome in it and it's truly you, keep it and be proud of your dress!
I wouldn't worry about the FI, I'm SURE you'll look really really good in it and he'll love it!

I have been having those nightmares too! I thought it was just me. My FI is really plain and my dress and veil aren't at all and I'm so afraid he is going to hate it. I actually was so upset over it that I was crying when I woke up from another nightmare yesterday LOL

He will definitely LOVE you in that dress, I think it's very close to a guys' version of what they think a wedding dress should look like!
I think it's most important to personally love your dress rather than worry about what others will think. If you love it, it will show...and I don't see how your FI can dislike something that you are so happy with.
Your mom cried when she saw you in it! Believe me... you look awesome in the dress and he'll cry too.

It's beautiful! Maybe you should show him a picture if you really want to know what he thinks. Showing him a picture is different than him seeing you IN it though, so you wouldn't exactlly be ruining the 'surprise' of him seeing you in it!
I showed mine a pic, but I didn't let him see the pic of me IN it, and he really liked it.

I completely understand your fears... my FH is the same way, and I've been so nervous for him to see me in it ever since I bought it in January!

Yeah, not the best way to start a post, huh?! Let me explain...
So I bought my dress, I love it, My Mom loves, everyone I've deemed important enough to be able to see a picture of it loves it, there's just one thing...
I keep having nightmares that my sometimes overly opinionated FH absolutely hates it on our day. I told him about it today, and he just looked at me (he knows he can be opinionated sometimes) and said, "I'm not stupid, I won't tell you if I don't like it. I don't want to piss you off that day!" So here's me...thrown into overdrive of nerves!
So, tell me what you think.. is my dress everything I think it is?
PS, please excuse the horrible stock photo! My mom and I took pictures of every single dress I tried on, but then I put this one on, and we both got so excited and I was soo happy, and she was crying that we just totally spaced if off!!
