Wedding is in ~55 days and I would love to hear some commentary. I really didnt want things to be matchy matchy and its an intimate wedding so I wanted it to feel relaxed and romantic. I kind of wanted things to just “go together.” I cant tell if this is a train wreck or what.
I’m totally ok that the three boards have a different feel since they are all different locations.
Anyways, this is what we have so far (most of the photos are of locations/items we have.)
We will be getting ready at the Omni downtown and then we will do our first look outside near some modern buildings and then maybe take a few photos near some older ones.
Our ceremony location is in a butterfly house (top left photo) We also have the option for an hours worth of photos in the garden outside. The ferris wheel is outside too!
And our reception is in a steakhouse downtown. Here we chose food quality (phenomenal) over the springy vision I had.
I would love to hear what you think. Just maybe dont be too harsh since we cant change some of the things

Gorgeous! So soft, romantic, and lovely. I think you are able to keep your “springy” feel in all of the details even though you went with a different kind of venue, which is exaclty what I am trying to do too. Well done!
Can’t wait for your recap! 🙂

Thank you!! I tried to force “wedding colors” for about 3/4 of our engagement and wedding planning, I finally just decided it wasn’t going to work so we threw it out the window and went with things we like. I wasn’t sure how it would all pull together. And recap, ack!! Just thinking about it gives me butterflies haha! Its approaching so fast! 🙂

they all look good! I’m sure it will all come together marvelously

@sheepandbear: I’m definitely not forcing wedding colors either. I’m going with what we love. It happens to be aqua and pink, generally, but I’m not afraid of other colors (in the pastel range), lol.
We’re definitely not sticking to a deadfast scheme, and I think it’s so much more fun that way. 🙂

Your choices are wonderful, soft, elegant and dreamy. I think they are going to make a great wedding day! They all go together perfectly! I love the pinks and blues (and the ferris wheel is amazing!)

@MsAmandaAnn: I’m so glad you like it! My FH picked the cake out all by himself! Well, he had picked out three and then we decided our favorite from there. I think he really had fun with that part of the wedding planning.

I think it looks good, it goes without being too bridal magazine matchy matchy. It’s unique and obviously reflects you and FI as a couple – well done 🙂
