Check your order info they might have a 30 day return policy which most likely you will be paying to ship them back.
Or you can resell on eBay, or here on WB, or any number of wedding sites. Maybe it will work with other brides? Be sure to note that they have individual compartments!
Good Luck!
As a guest, if you got a cute little bag that was made specifically for carrying wine bottles, would you like it or would you not do anything with it? We have alot of wine drinkers on our guest list (my fiance is Italian) but I'm just not sure how it will be received!
Honestly, I'm not sure how often I would use it. We are big wine drinkers as well and love going on wine tours, trying new vineyards, etc. But the chances of us buying that much wine to justify using a bag like that is pretty slim. Which makes me feel the average person would probably not use it often?
We're having a vineyard wedding!
Could you alter the bag somehow... like remove the sections? If you have a lot of wine drinkers, they will probably like the illustration on the bag.
I would keep them ... you already bought them and they can come in handy... I think the different compartments are great! plus they go with your theme.. but if you are that worried about them I am sure you can return them! If you do return them you can find bags you like with out compartments and then take them to a local print shop and they can screen pritn anything you want on them! just a suggestion!
always great to have a plan B!
Thanks guys! I bet I could cut out the inside... the bags were 99 cents a piece which I think is a great deal for reusable bags. Maybe I'll try to cut out one of them and see what it looks like. I don't want to return them because I think they fit really well with our theme (we're doing sort of a modern "Tuscan" theme) and I was really excited about them. I'll let you know how it goes!
Ok... I just cut the divider out of one of them and because the bag is black, you can't even tell that there was one there in the first place... I guess I found a new project for myself this weekend haha! Thanks, ladies :)
I would be happy to recieve one as a guests! It would be great for when you go to Trader Joe's to stock up on 2 buck chuck! And it could be a fun challenge to fill it-- with water bottles, columns of m&ms, snack packs made to go in a car beverage holder, a cheese log...
What if you use each compartment to put little gifts in - Water bottle, snack mix, etc...
It's still cute and totally usable.

Our wedding isn't until May 2010... but needless to say, I've been excited and eager to get things going.
Last week, I found a great sale on reusable shopping bags which I want to give to our OOT guests at the hotel when they check in. I found a site that sold these adorable "wine bags" and fit our them to a "T".
Well... we got the bags yesterday (I ordered 50 of them... I don't know why!) and the bags are way smaller than I thought AND they have a divider built in for 6 wine bottles. I don't know why I didnt realize that because they were made for carrying wine, that they wouldn't be completely open. The point of them is so our guests can reuse them at the grocery store or something, but they really are made for carrying wine bottles. I think some people will use them for carrying stuff (they can be used for water bottles, food, picnics) but they aren't exactly what I was imagining.
What do you think I should do? Should I contact the company and see if I can send them back? Should I not worry about it and just give them anyway? The picture on the bags is so cute and like I said, fits our theme so well (the bags are black with a cute picture of a wine bottle and wine glass on the side).
My excitement caused me to make a decision without thinking or doing more research and now I'm not sure what to do!
