I posted a few days ago about wanting to make cake stands, since I need about 8 of them.  Well, I did it all day today!   Super easy!  The most expensive one cost about $4 total.

Oh, I also included 2 photos of a pretty cookie table, which is what my cake stands are for.  1,000 cookies!

They are vases/candle sticks from goodwill at about .50/piece and a glass plate from goodwill at about $1/each.  They you just use clear epoxy and the hold is very sturdy!  Yipppie!   You can google it, some blogs have directions and other cool pics.

Those look really nice!  That's a lot of cookies too but oh so yummy!  Are you from PA?  I learned recently that's a big thing there, cookie bars....which I think is pretty awesome!

I love these. You've totally inspired me to go shop Goodwill tomorrow - I've been wanting to use a cake stand but I wasn't going to spend $20 on one. Plus these are much more unique than a regular cake stand...beautiful job!

@Camrie---Good!   It's funny, I've never been to a goodwill before and then i started grabbing glassware from all our local ones. GOOD LUCK  and I really hope you post a picture when you're done!

That table is to die for! It would inspire anyone to make awesome cakestands like yours, which are totally applaudable!
