So the first is THE dress... I'm pretty sure. My gram found it and everyone loved it most b/c it looked gorgeous (traditional yet modern b/c of the cool bust). Now that I look at the photos I'm not sure. I guess its just bad quality pix, but the dress sparkled in the store and fit me like a glove - but I can't tell from the photos... I'm having it slightly altered to have a modified sweetheart instead of the scoop. And the back... oh the back... :) Casablanca 1966:

The second was the other dress I loved. It would have required work. Everyone had mixed feelings about the bow, which could not be removed (a brown bow is covered by the white one). It originally was a halter top (the straps are shoved down in...), which I hate. The back was boring, but I love the shape on me. Maggie Sottero Karena:

I like the first...more unique...I've seen the lace one or its look-a-like everywhere...

Oh gosh, I can see how you're stuck.  I like the detail on the back of the first dress, but I do like how the second one fits you better...it gives you more of the hourglass shape.  Or it could always just be these photos...

The first one is very flattering on you. It's so pretty and I personally like that one better. I'm sure you're just nervous because you finally picked your dress. Don't go buy the picture you took. You will have your hair done and makeup and when we go in our normal selves to try on wedding dresses and take pictures, they can come out not so amazing :)

    You made  a good choice!

the shape of the bust is way more flattering in the first dress. The second one was nice but not as flattering

The first one suits you much better. And don't worry, I think every bride has wedding dress worries once they've finally picked their dress.

I think the first picture was just taken at an odd angle.  I personally like it better than the second one.  The bust fits better, and I love the train!

I love the first dress on you. I think it looks really elegant and accentuates all your curves in the right places. :)

Thank you for all the positive reinforcement!

I guess the pictures just fueled my second thoughts. I had a stronger rxn to the second gown than the first, but the second dress came with a lot of "what if" scenarios of alterations and a higher price than the first. The first dress was perfect on me. AND since I'm having a Catholic ceremony it just seemed like the first dress was better suited? I think its a little more traditional and people get to stare at all that beadwork for an hour... lol. :)

I'm not going to vote simply because both are beautiful, for myself I would pick the second but the first one is beautiful on you- second is too.......see, I'm no help at all. :P The bust is different on the first but a good kind of different.

The first dress looks way better on you than the second one (personally I like the second one better, but not on you). So yes I think you took the right decision!
