TGold:  I dont have any experience with Cushings but I just wanted to say good luck with everything and I hope you have a good outcome. I have delt with many medical issues myself so I know how it is to worry before you get a deffinate answer. And the internet is the worst when it comes to these things. Makes you worry so much more. Try to keep busy until you get answers from your Doctor. Good luck and keep us posted.

Did they also check your thyroid? You could have Hashimotos or just a thyroid disorder in general.

Good luck with everything.

I was tested for Cushings about ten years ago. Turned out to be really bad PCOS making my testosterone super high. I’ve been where you are and while it’s mildly terrifying you should know Cushings can be treated with drugs as well as surgery, depending on your case.

TGold:  The tumor removal isn’t THAT complicated. They usually go in through your mouth (between the lip and the teeth), cut it into pieces, and remove it through the same hole. Recovery time isn’t bad at all. But that’s only if they find a well-defined tumor. If they can’t see one, the treatment is with medication and sometimes chemo, or they’ll remove part of the gland. Surgery can be a bit scary, and isn’t ever without risks, but these days Cushings really isn’t that bad to deal with.
