The “poopsies” are the dogs. (Get it? Puppies + poopers = poopsies!)
I’m at a conference for work, my fiance came with me. We have 3 dogs that we split up between both our parents to watch for the week (my parents have 2, his parents have 1; we didn’t want to overwhelm anyone with 3 extra dogs!).
I miss them! I’m so used to them being around, I keep thinking “have to pick them up off the floor so the dogs don’t destroy it”, but there’s no dogs here. And they usually sleep with us on the bed every night too.
I’m having a nice get-away here in Florida, the weather is great compared to Kansas/Missouri right now, but I miss my poopsies!
(Yeah, it’s a Christmas picture. And a year old too (Christmas 2009). But it’s the only pic of all 3 of them together I have on my laptop.)

@abbyful: They’re adorable! I know the feeling well. My dog has to currently live an hour away from me until I get my living situation handled. It breaks my heart, but I do go spend time with her when I can for days at a time.

@DesireeAnne – I hope you can live with your dog again soon! It’s weird how much you don’t realize you’re used to them being around and ingrained in your day-to-day life until all of a sudden they aren’t!

I totally get that. Everytime the FI and I go on vacation for a week it kills me to think of our Pooter. I just know she’s sitting at home wondering where we went. Makes me sad….

@abbyful: Oh, it’ll be soon enough, but not at the same time! She’s definitely my furbaby!
