I watched it. It was like a car wreck. Those women were absolutely horrendous and the men spineless. There was a red-head woman having a murder-mystery theme. She would yell at her FI and call him stupid, his family stupid, some other names I can't write on this board--she was bleeped out a lot. And her FI was always calm. She blamed everyone else for problems that she caused.
The other girl was crazy with a capital C. Her wedding continues in the next episode. Her and her FI fought a lot at the bachelor party (which she crashed with her friends) and she was ready to break up with him. She's the one that smashes the cake in the commercials. Beautiful face, crazy-ugly insides.
All of that being said, it was awesome! LOL. I feel like people throw around the word bridezilla, I wanted to call everyone I knew and tell them to watch the show and thank the lord I'm not like those women.
I watched it. It was glorious, all the ridiculous, crazy drama. Reality tv is my addiction (luckily, my husband loves me just the way I am :). I will give a brief recap for those who want it.
SPOILER ALERT: One girl was a red-head with a crazy temper. My favorite line from the whole episode is when she yelled at her Fi, "Damnit, Dan, why is your family so stupid?!" They had a "murder mystery" game at the reception, but everyone just seemed really confused by it. Also, her Fi dressed up like Batman for the rehearsal because it was on Halloween.
The other girl was from Cali. She is 25, and she has been with her Fi for 4 years (they also have a baby together). Apparently, sometime before they got together (like at 21?), she married someone else and got divorced. Then she crashed her Fi's bachelor party, got into a fight with his best friend, and cried to the bus driver about how she didn't want to marry her Fi because he was a wuss. Oh, and she also punched this woman in the head who I'm pretty sure was homeless and/or drunk.
OMG, such a train wreck, and so fun to watch. I'd been watching the commercials in anticipation of this season, and the first episode didn't disappoint! Seriously, every time I saw the commercial, where the girl yells "I want chocolate cake!!!" and smashes the cake with her hand, I crack up laughing. I can't wait until next week to actually see it happen!
I think now every time my FI says something about the wedding is silly or crazy, I'm going to shout at him (tongue in cheek), "at least I don't want chocolate cake!" LOL!
Seriously, it was such a train wreck! I could not believe how these women were acting. In the previews they keep saying that this season has the craziest bridezillas on it, and now I believe it--these two chicks were completely nuts!
I don't have WE either, everytime I go home to my parents I hide in the guest room watching hours of wedding tv on the we channel!
Train wreck, train wreck! I can't believe I watch this show. And when they showed the "10 Bridezilla Moments" right before it, I have seen every one of the episodes they referred to! Have I really been watching that long?
What was up with the redhead? I don't think I've seen anyone scream so much.
The cake-smashing girl was hilarious. Unbelievably spoiled! Are these girls coached? Also, did anyone else catch her reference to having had 3 kids? At one point she yelled at her fiancé something like, "I look good for having 3 kids!" (when they were fighting on the bus) This would not be the first time the show has tried to hide the existence of other kids... but still!
I heard that too, Mitla, and I was so confused? They only showed the baby she had with her Fi, so I wondered where the three kid thing came in. Weird...
She'd been married before and the other two kids were from then--said that this was her second wedding and kept getting mad when her friend said "at your next wedding..." LOL! I was blown away when she talked about only having fat bridesmaids so no one would look better than her...
Bridezillas never disappoints--I was laughing so hard last night I was in tears by the time it was over. SOOOO glad I've never had to deal with a bride like that. :)
My FH and I watch that together, so it's on the Tivo right now. It cracks me up, he says he wants to watch it so he knows the warning signs to watch out for.
It was an absolute hoot! I can't imagine anyone wanting to mary those awful women. And once again, it made me feel like a SAINT! LOL
I'm not 100% sure that either of those guys DID want to marry them! One said he never really proposed, that on one of their dates she said "if you're planning on marrying me let me know soon so I can start on the arrangements". The other was supposedly a last minute "forgot their anninversay" proposal. Nothing like an enthusiastic husband...LOL
Thanks everyone. I hope you keep me updated on what happens next time.
It was hilarious yet disgusting. I kept asking myself is this for real? I just could not nor can not beleive people act like that and that those guys ended up marrying them!
AHHH- my favorite gossip monger dlisted.com, has the clip of the red head freak out!
The girl who was talking about how she picked girls who were fatter/uglier than her specifically so she would look better made me think to myself - is this why I've been a bridesmaid so many times? Sigh.

I went to turn it on right when it started only to discover that we don't have that chanel any more.
So I watched this instead and it cheered me up.

I also found old episodes since this season is out of my reach.
