Well, if you don’t want it to be cutesie, if she gardens a lot then there is this great little wagon/seat thing, it has a little rotating seat with two baskets to hold stuff while gardening so one doesn’t have to kneel in the dirt. My dad (an avid gardener) loves the one we got him for fathers day!

What about a Kindle? Does she read?

What about making her a nice album with wedding (vow renewal) photos, particuarly those that encompass the family and the DIY she helped you with. I can highly recommend http://www.adoramapix.com for thier lay flat, thinck pages if you want to make her a nice wedding keepsake. Maybe pair it with a plant she can add to her garden that will come back year after year as a memory of your vow renewal and what seems to be your strong relationship with MIL.

@slicey19: Thats a really good idea:)  Plus you can also write a heartfelt note under each photo, just for her, and that way she will know its very personal, just for her:)

Don’t know if she’s into decorative type things, but I just ordered one of these off Etsy for friend and I really recommend the seller! The signs are beautiful. Maybe you could get something for her to put in her garden?
