Seriously, though, my wedding is in 2 months, and this year has been bizarre so far — lots of bad luck around me. In just a few months this year…
– My cousin’s husband’s dad died
– 2 family friends died (one was 22)
– Both of my fiance’s grandmothers are in the hospital (one was diagnosed w/ cancer)
– A friend’s neice stabbed someone (and said friend is separating from her husband)
It goes on and on. Lots of totally strange, wierd, sad stuff happening. Even my mom commented on how it’s been such a wierd year.
And now my wedding is coming up in 2 months. I’m not usually superstitious, but I have to say I’m a bit wary of all the wierdness. I want everyone to be totally healthy and happy.
How to banish the bad luck around me?

I was thinking all three…
But seriously: None of these things you have mentioned have a thing to do with your wedding. Has anything happened in your planning to make you think the bad luck will carry over to you? If not, just look to all the good and happy that will happen on that day. Don’t stress over things that haven’t even happened. That right there is a recipe for disaster before you even get out of the gate.

@littleacorn: Bad things come in packs. You have had your share. Hopefully this means that your fiance’s grandmothers will be healthy for your wedding and you will have a wonderful, memorable day!

@katrinamlee: Actually, no, nothing re: bad luck about the wedding except our florist falling through 2 months before. That’s not bad luck to me, just bad form. The bad luck is happening in a big way to people around me — it’s so strange! I love the three charm keychain!
