My fiance and I are honeymooning on the East Coast, and I know he's supposed to plan the honeymoon, but he needs help on this one thing.

We're supposed to hang out in New York City for a few days, but I don't want to pay too much for a hotel (it's difficult when you're on a limited budget!!). Does anyone have any recommendations? Help us get more bang for our buck! I need a hotel in New York City : wedding honeymoon new york hotel Icon Biggrin

Three West Club www.3westclub.com located right across the street from Rockefeller center $180/night. Sometimes you can find deals for $150 on sites like hotels.com

I stayed at the SoHotel last November. It wasn't too expensive (~$180/night, I believe, before taxes) and I loved the downtown location. Hotel is small, but the room was big and clean.

My friend just sent this to me the other day when I was looking for affordable hotels for our guests.

    Pod Hotel (51st and 3rd) - $80-$200 dollars a night

Skyline Hotel Hell's Kitchen (10th ave) - recently renovated and clean $150-$250 a night

    Marmara Hotel 94th and 2nd - $220-$280 a night
