I'm getting married Oct 2011 and might be able to resell some of the stuff I have. Wedding is going to be very rustic... colors are yellow and navy with variations on that color. Lots of milk glass and cheap vases to defray florist costs. Going to make a photobooth backdrop that guest can take their own pictures in. Private message me if you might be interested. I can start taking pictures of what I have so far.
I'll be happy to talk things through and would love another eye on if I have enough decorations etc. I've done tons and tons of DIY already but still have a few things to be done.
I'm in Carrollton... where are you?
@amyalmighty: Did you figure something out? I still have a majority of the items I used and pictures to show you how I used them.
Hi there, I am a local bride kind of lol my wedding is in Charleston, SC. I live here in DFW though. I am using vintage blue mason jars that I have collected for my wedding. If you want I can rent them to you $2 each for the quart size ones. Just let me know I am not selling them after my wedding they are just too pretty. :)
Wow Darice, I am doing pale yellow and navy for my colors too!!! Crazy!!! And we live just north of you about 2 hours (in Denison/Sherman). I made need some of those pictures to bounce ideas off of as well if you dont mind.

I am not getting married until October 2012 (because we are paying for the wedding ourselves and need to save money) but I am starting now working on my DIY projects and planning.
I was hoping to find someone that lives local that is interested in having the same kind of wedding that might be willing to share cost on certain items. Or getting together and bouncing ideas off each other, sit around working on DIY items, etc.
