I'm using Don Johnson. I've seen him in action at several weddings.
What exactly are you looking for? What type of wedding are you envisioning? Religious, not religious. We just got married by a fantastic guy. Let me know what you are thinking.
I used Alan Katz, the guy behind www.socalofficiants.com and he was great. So many of our friends and family commented on him. He has sample ceremony wording on his website. My photographer recommended him and I am happy we chose him.
We used Don Johnson. He was awesome. Our guests said it was the best ceremony they ever went to. Don made us laugh, cry and so comfortable. We loved him!
We're using Mary Jean Valente. Cermony of the heart. Google her and read her reviews. She is great!!
pinkginger - most give you that option now. My officiant, Mary Jean Valente offers any type of ceremony you'd like and is really willing to customize the entire thing. I also met with Deidra Grey Barejo (sp?) and she as well is willing to make the ceremony non religious. They are all very open to that.

I'm looking for one also. I have $300 to $400 budgeted. Any suggestions?
I used Rev Chris Tuttle. He has won NUMEROUS awards for his work and I couldn't have been happier with how the ceremony turned out. He lives in San Diego but is willing to travel.
How much did you guys paid for the officiant? Are there any that are less than $300?
