@soon2bemrsbaxter:  I try to workout daily. An hour of Zumba Rush on the Kinect and one 30 Day Shred DVD workout (usually 20 minutes). I am trying to incorporate 30 minutes of yoga as well, but I am in the super newbie stages of that. Yoga is way harder than it looks, lol.

Sure, why not?  I’ve been trying to amp up my workouts — partly for the wedding, but mainly to improve my running.  I’ve been doing a little bit of everything…For example, here was my last week:

  • Monday – circuit training workout
  • Tuesday – 30 minutes running & arm/butt circuit workout
  • Wednesday – another circuit training workout
  • Thursday – 30 minutes of hill training (running)
  • Friday – OFF!!
  • Saturday – 1+ hr of yoga
  • Sunday (today) – 2.5 mile run (it’s a lower mileage week) & I will probably do the arm/butt circuit workout again

@soon2bemrsbaxter:  I run outside 95% of the time.  The only time I use a treadmill is if it’s pouring rain or the temps are below freezing.  The deadmill just zaps the life out of me.. lol..

I do my circuits at home — usually in my living room or in my backyard, depending on what ones I am doing (easier to do dips and incline pushups on my stairs inside than my porch steps.. but would rather do things like burpees and mountain climbers outside).

Yoga is in a studio though — I have zero discipline to follow a yoga video the whole way do and actually give it 110%… haha

I’m in… but I am not gunna say everyday yet. I have to work my way back into a routine. My goal is 3- times a week until my bday in July then I’ll kick it into full gear!!

@BreezyBride24:  I’ve also been trying to go 3x a week. We can be buddies! 🙂 I’m not super athletic, so I’m building up slowly haha.

@tallierand:  Not sure lol! Its kinda new, but I think its like turbo kick boxing… have you ever heard of that? I’m a gym classs “junky”… I’m not good at creating my own workout or pushing myself hard enough unless my FI is there… so I prefere to go to the classes because I’m usually motivated to push myself as hard or harder than the other ladies and gentlemen! 

 

It looks like we’re on a roll though (at least for this week)…I’ll let you know how it goes!

Just finished a 30 minute run (in a new Lululemon top)… yay! 🙂  I should get new workout clothes every day.. that is motivation enough for me to bust a move out there!
