TogetherThroughLife:  Up to you.  If you don’t get the BFP, are you going to be devasted?  Sometimes I think for some women, seeing it makes it worse.  But some people want to know definitively yes or no.  for me, I kept getting a BFN until I was 20 days late.  But I wanted to know yes or no, so I kept testing frequently.

TogetherThroughLife:  No I definitely don’t think mine was normal.  Highly unnormal.  But I got easily 6 negatives or 9 (can’t remember if I bought the 2 pk 3 times, or the 3 pk 3 times.)  But I would say that my levels were low, because I had to go onto progesterone after finding out I was pregnant because my levels were low.

TogetherThroughLife:  since you dont know when you ovulated you might not be 15 dpo. You could be only 10dpo and not have enough of the horomones to detect on a test. I would wait a few days and test again.

Patience!  I am going through the same thing.  We have been ttc since June and finally I just decided I can’t keep testing five days before a missed period.  LOL  I would literally start testing at five days prior and test every day up until my period.  I’m crazy I know.  But all of the testing will drive you crazy and make you even more disappointed when it is negative.  I have been off of my birth control since June and AF is still off aby a day or two.  I would say give it another three days to see what happens.

Though they’re cheap, the New Choice tests are fairly sensitve.  I didn’t test using one until a couple days past my missed period, (because I was SURE AF was coming and didn’t bother testing early that month), but I got a visible line within a minute when I did test.

How soon you test postive depends on a lot of factors, including when implantation occured, so it’s possible it’s just too early for a postive test.  You’re not out until AF shows up!

I would probably take a FRER.

TogetherThroughLife:  A dollar test (same one that I had used while testing) and then clear blue digital.  I was not planning on getting pregnant, so seeing the positive was a big shock for me.  But I know I’m more the exception than the rule.  Several friends of mine had similiar symptoms as me, but ended up not being pregnant.  I just was very lucky.

You could still be pregnant, but in most cases a BFP would have shown by now if you really are 15 DPO. I’d wait a few days and test again.

I usually have regular cycles too and ovulate around day 16 (confirmed by temping). But one cycle I didn’t ovulate until day 24, for no obvious reason. Our bodies can be so frustrating!

TogetherThroughLife:  you can ovulate anywhere from cycle day 10 to 30! so its impossible to say.  I would wait 2 days and then test.

I want to wish you luck with conceiving.  I know how frustrating the process can be.  Not to mention it seems like everybody around me is getting pregnant (WTH?).  Anyway, I know how annoying it can be to write a post on here and not hear what you are wanting in response.  Yeah, this whole conceiving process is making me insane.  I just want everybody to say, YES YOU HAVE TO BE PREGNANT!!  But, it will all happen when God is ready for us and not a minute sooner. 🙂

TogetherThroughLife:  I’m sure you’re already aware, but you may want to consider charting your BBT so that you can confirm whether you ovulated and see whether there is a pattern during your cycle for ovulation.  🙂
