@Jellybones:  I feel you!  I have tried to start insanity probably 3 or 4 different times.  I always do a good job for the first two weeks, and then I skip a day or two, and then by the end of 4 weeks I’ve just given up.  I am going to start again on Monday (I’m super busy the next two days because all of my end of month stuff is due early for work because of our winter break).  But I’d love to keep in touch to help each other stay motivated 🙂 !  Hopefully some other bees will join too!

@Jellybones:  I think I’m going to do the fit test on Sunday actually and start with the workouts Monday.  Plyo is hard if I am remembering the video correctly.  Is that the one with the “in and out abs” and “ski abs”?  I admit the first few times I did that video I gave up on those and did crunches and bicycles because I couldn’t handle doing in and out abs.  EmbarassedI was able to do them after a few workouts, but I’m worried I won’t be able to when I start again!

It sucks when you have a crazy busy day and then have to come home and workout.  But you’ll be proud of yourself for having such a productive day and it will probably help you fall alseep!

I am close to my highest weight right now (6 lbs under my highest weight, but 20 lbs over my high school weight).  I’m hoping to lose 30 lbs because that would put me in a really healthy weight for my height, but mostly I just want to be healthy and more confident.  My doctor told me I had high blood pressure (runs in my family) but losing weight should help.

Good luck on your workout tonight!  Kick some @**!

I started it once before as well- I was doing great for a while, then it fell by the wayside with work, etc etc.   I would love to be in on this too!  I could sure use the motivation/encouragement.  I am going to do the Fit Test on Saturday- not looking forward to it.  heh

@Jellybones:  Yay glad you did your workout even after a long day!  🙂  It’s definitely hard to not let yoruself make excuses.  Way to go!

@immanorcalbee:  Glad you’re joining!  When you did the full round before your wedding did you see results?  I feel like I always quit before I see any real results!! I might just be impatient.  My calves are always SO SORE when I’m doing insanity.  So, During the long hip flexor stretches I stop early and stretch out my calves.  It helped me!

@torchredcorvette:  Yay!  Good luck on your fit test!

For the wedding I had great results but visual results really started happening in week 5!

I didnt work out today ugh work was crazy and I had a dinner that I just got back from.  But I will do pure cardio tomorrow!  Calves are always the stiffest in the am (it’s funny I tend to walk around on my toes) but better tonight!

@Jellybones:  I didn’t follow the diet plan but I found I needed to eat a square 3 meals a day (I usually skip out on breakfast) especially the second month.  If I didn’t eat enough or regularly I would feel totally crappy during the workout but if I ate a relatively balanced full meal it would make a ton of difference!  Still drank alcohol and didn’t cut out carbs but tried to be healthier – more chicken and veggies, less mac and cheese!  My husband totally jokes with me though because I follow the 2 hour rule to a tee.  No insanity until 2 hours after eating!  Also tons of water throughout the entire day helped me.  I’ve tried the protein shakes but don’t like them.

Good luck today!

@Jellybones:  hahaha I have the same mindset.  so impatient!

@immanorcalbee:  I guess this means I have to buck up and keep going so I can actually see the results ha!
