Oooh. This is like my favorite part of setting things up in a church: decorating the altar. You can get some fabrics in different colors and patterns corresponding to your wedding theme/flowers/dress (whatever you like). Then, use hymnbooks or bibles (if the church will allow) and stack them in "columns" underneath the fabric. Then you can put candles of differing heights on top of the stacks, do different kinds of flower and greenery arrangements, put a sculpture or religious symbol there (maybe you have something in your home that's symbolic of you and FH?). I think I can pull up some pics from the chapel services at my seminary to show you the final effect. I hope that helps!

Specifically calla lily altar decoration ideas. I have lots of ideas for the aisle and the columns in the church, but the altar is going to be bare unless I can come up with something. Note: we are doing our own flowers, so we won't be having a florist make up the pieces.
