We are having champagne glasses on the table, for the champagne toast.  We have around 100 but still need 100 more.

Does anyone know where to get cheap glasses?  Walmart has them $3 for 4, but I just want to buy them and get it over with!

Does anyone have a large lot that they are willing to get rid of?  Or does anyone know where to find them cheap?

And also..if anyone is NEEDING champagne glasses....after October 11, I will have 200 to spare! hahaha!

Ikea has cheap ones. Why don't you just rent them? They're like 40 cents to rent around here.

I agree with renting.  We paid $.35 each to rent them for the engagement party.  Just rinse and return - they wash and shrink-wrap for the next person.

rent. seriously! it's not worth the headache of dealing with the large numbers if you own them. breakage is covered in rentals, and so is washing.

I just rented the most basic style from the a national event rental company (Chairman Mills in Canada) and it was super simple.

sorry, didn't read upthread. why do you think it will be a hassle to rent? they provide all the boxes to transport it safely. the company I used did not charge me anything extra to delay returning until Monday after the Saturday wedding. trust me, it's easy-peasy.

It is SO much easier to rent than to buy. If you buy, you have to wash them all before you use them, then you have to wash them again after you use them before you store them. You also have to figure out how to store them and transport them. Huge hassle. With rentals, all you have to do is use them, dump them out and replace in the racks they provide.
