look online for support groups in your area, or for message boards if there are none or you don’t feel comfortable going yet.
other people with the same thing can definitely help you understand your diagnosis and learn to cope with it.

Aww sweetie, I am giving you the biggest virtual hug ever right now.
A friend on Facebook had Bell’s Palsy – it sounds so terrifying. BUT, his went away closer to the two week mark, so I will be praying you have the same result!

I am a West Texas girl too, yay!!! I am so sorry you are going through this. My mom had it once and it took around 2 weeks to clear up.
I am sure you are overwhelmed with worrying about your projects, but I am sure if you talk to your photographer and let him/her know that you really need to get 3-5 of your pics back ASAP, he/she will understand and get you what you need for your DIY projects. Do you need the entire disk of pics back to get your projects done?

My FI is from Abilene! I had a friend in high school get diagnozed with bells/palsy and it can be very scary. I think you are taking the right steps to put your DIY projects on hold, and just rest if you need it. Reducing stress will help you alot.

So sorry to hear you’re going through this. I do know someone who had this and it definitely improved over time, I’m sure stress will only aggravate this type of condition so try to not stress over projects and take care of yourself. You can still have a beautiful wedding without all the extra projects, or maybe you can have family/bridal party help make it happen. We’re date twins btw…2-12-2011 (my sig date isn’t correct). Wishing you ALL the best!Like @kitzy recommended, maybe a support group would be good and online searches. I find with doctors, they don’t always tell you everything you need to know, you have to ask a million questions.

Do you have any friends who could help take over some of the DIY for you so you can get the rest you need?
You will be in my thoughts!

**Hugs** I had a friend who had it and hers went away pretty soon. Hopefully yours will go away quickly!

A friend from work’s husband just came down with bells palsy a few weeks ago too! I’m happy to report that he’s feeling and looking much better and it’s only been about 4 weeks – so hopefully yours won’t last 3 months either!!! Just take care of yourself and listen to your doctor! Hope you feel better soon!!!

I am so sorry! My mom had that and she had it when she was born or very very young, so hers was worse..but I can’t imagine how you feel right now. I will pray that this is healed quickly and you will be able to enjoy your wedding day. Hopefully this will be gone soon, like I said, I will pray for ya..((((((((((big giant hugs to you))))))))))))))).

*Hugs to you!* Like other PPs have said, reduce the projects/stress right now if you can, and find a support group if there’s one around your area or online. A friend of ours had it as well, and his went away quickly.
Also, your photographer should know many different poses that can draw attention away if it is still affecting you by the time your shoot comes. There are many profile shots of you and FI that will look great! Try not to stress, and I hope you feel well soon!

((((hugs)))))) sweetie. My grandmother had Bell’s Palsy a few years back and I think it was about 2-3 weeks for it to go away. It must be so frustrating. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Do you have any friends or BMs who could come do your DIY projects or get elements of them done for you?

Hugs! I know someone who had it. It took about two weeks (or less for it to go away). I’ll be praying for a speedy recovery for you.
