My fiance is Croatian and has asked that we incorporate an olive branch or tree into our wedding invitations.  I'm not sure how to make that mesh with the rest of the decor/planning which has already been chosen.

Our vibe for our Saturday night wedding is romantic, low key elegance.  Our venue has dark wooden ceilings and floors, gold chivari chairs and over looks the ocean with a really large brick patio for cocktail hour.  Our colors are navy/yellow with pops of muted gold and grass green. I'm using a lot of candles for centerpieces and decor.

Ok, so. How the hell do I incorporate olive branches into our invites? I know I want to use navy blue pocket folds. Here are some images I found that I liked. Help!

could you use a silhouette of an olive branch outlined in your wedding colors with the olives in muted gold for a pop?

Are you doing the invites yourself?  I would recommend going to Michael's or another craft store and checking out all of their stamp designs to see if you find one you like a lot!

i really like the first image you've uploaded! its very clean and has a "low key" feel yet the all caps serif font gives it the elegance that you are looking for. I think using that color palette with navy blue pocket folds would go great!

Are you designing these yourself? Maybe check out istock.com, or any other stock photo site and search for "olive branch illustrations". Good luck and keep us posted!
