So I bought a dress that I’m not in love with (for $125!! crazy!). I like it, but i don’t LOVE it. I can’t decide if the cost of buying another dress is justified when the one that i bought is…. nice… i guess….
part of me wants to just go with the cheap dress and use the money elsewhere.
part of me thinks i’ll regret that.
what would you do??
(sorry about the previous posts…. which i can’t seem to delete….
Impression…. good deal! don’t love….
Maggie… LOVE, but $$
Casablanca… Mom loves
Casablanca… like it… a lot!

They’re all so different! What do you like the most about the second one?

Have you tried all of these dresses on?

I LOVED the way the bodice looks on. It’s flattering and sexy and classic all at the same time.

Why don’t you love yours? Have you gotten it yet and it doesn’t look good? The first is actually my favorite of the bunch and I am a self-proclaimed Maggie addict. Maggie dresses are relatively affordable and popular so you can get them used as well. I don’t know your budget or situation so I don’t want to make any assumptions.

Do you have pictures of you in these gowns? It would really help us help you, if we could see them on you.

I actually really like the impression gown. It’s beautiful and a great deal!

Yes, i’ve tried them all on, and I think they all look good on… i do not have any pictures. I think my major beef with the Impression dress is that it’s busier than i’d like. It is pretty… it’s just not me.
i don’t think budget wise any of them are an issue…. I just feel guilty passing up a good deal and not spending wisely.

I didn’t vote because I don’t know which would look best on you–I think all the dresses are beautiful and could be the perfect dress for someone! But if you don’t love the dress you bought, don’t feel like you have to stick with it. I’d think you’d be able to sell it and recoup your money, especially since you haven’t worn it.

I’m wearing the Maggie “Linda” dress for my wedding. Yes, the price tag is high and trust me I struggled with the thought of spending that much on a dress. BUT, this is YOUR WEDDING DRESS. You are the centerpiece to the wedding and everyone will be looking at you. And you want to look back at your pictures and be in the dress that you love and feel amazing in. What about finding it used?

Busier? Is the bottom more intricate. I would say it is the least busy (or 2nd to least) of all the dresses?
Huh. If I were going to pick one besides the Linda, I would actually pick the first as closest to it. It seems to me to be classic and sexy as well. The other two are very different from that style.
I think it depends on what matters more to you – getting a deal on the dress and having the money to spend elsewhere or spending more than you anticipated on a dress and adjusting the budget to accomodate. For some, the dress is the most important. For others, it’s the band or the food. I think they’re all beautiful dresses.

Sounds to me like the Casablanca is the best choice for you, but in all honesty, I like the dress you already have the best out of all of them – it’s really pretty! And don’t feel bad, I too have a dress I’ve been trying to love but I’m not 100% sure. I’m considering buying a second one.

I LOVE the Casablanca, but that’s because if I didn’t already have a dress, that would be the one I’d pick.
Have you tried all of them on?

I love the fourth one. It sounds like it’s the perfect one too.
