Hmm i dont have any ideas for the book...and i think leaving a strip of photos and there name is a little time consuming and the guests wont do it.
What about having a tree in the book?
Like this and then they can stamp there print and sign it?
Ali...I had friends who did the exact thing you were mentioning at their wedding (in San Diego). I think the book just had basic black paper...which you could make yourself. Then they had a pair of scissors and double sided tape and metallic pens. It was fantastic and everybody loved it.
Just text the pens first...my pens bled through all the pages in my photo guestbook.
I think guests would do it. We recently went to a wedding anniversary party and they had a photobooth and scrapbook pages. I thought it was fun and a cute idea.
One of the bee's did this:
The photo booth my friend had at her wedding came with an attendant who helped the guests make a guestbook exactly like you're describing. It wasn't time consuming or difficult at all. I can't remember how the photos were adhered but double-sided tape would do. It was an album with large thick plain black pages. The attendant adhered our photos and we signed in silver metallic ink.
We are doing something very similar. Instead of a photo booth, we are passing around a vintage Polaroid instant camera. Guests will take the photo that spits out slide it into the pre-set photo corners in the book and then write their best wishes next to their photo. A few people know we are doing this and everyone seems pretty geeked out about it!

We're having a photobooth at our wedding, so I'd like to incorporate that into our guest book.
I was thinking of having a blank book that guests could leave a photo strip with and then write a little message. What do you think about this?
Any ideas as far as the actual BOOK goes - I don't want to spend a lot of money (prefer to keep it under $20 if possible).
TIA!
