I am getting married in November and want Dark purple to be the main color. I was thinking of having grey be the secondary color but am not sure. I know I want the maids in dark purple and think I would like the boys in grey tuxedos. I just want to make sure that will look ok and need opinions. I am not sure if anyone has used those colors and can recommend decor options? Anything?!? Just looking for ideas 🙂 Thanks.

For November I would probably go with dark gray rather than light, but dark purple should be perfect. Something like this:

I was actually going to suggest silvery grays before I ever saw your post. I think it will look awesome!

I think dark purple and grey go perfect together! Although, I’m a bit biased because my November wedding was dark purple and grey.
When everything was pulled together on the day of, it ended up having an elegant look. We got many compliments on the color choice, saying it was pretty and something most (even the professional wedding guests!) hadn’t seen before.
I say go for it!!

I love this idea I may add that light blue as an accent color may be pretty.

Very pretty! My friend did gray and purple… Her purple was a peacock looking purple. I loved it! Very pretty

grey and purple are beautiful! though you could also add a touch of something a bit brighter to go with them…. like green, pink, light blue, or burnt orange.

My living room is actually grey and purple. Mustard/yellow gold is a great accent with those two colors since they’re cool colors.
