How about a 3/4 length sleeve? It has coverage as well as shows skin, for a perfect combo. I think just a bit longer than the elbow. You're going to be a beautiful bride! : )
Have you thought about maybe finding a shrug or bolero? That way you don't have to worry about sleeves on your dress and maybe you could get one that matches your dress but something simple enough that you could wear with other dresses and shirts later?
I found this dress and i like it since as suggested i should consider a 3/4 sleeve, but the only thing is i do not know how it will look on a short person, i am 5'2" so i', a lil worried i will look like small white box
I think that the 3/4 length sleeve looks so pretty! I don't think it will look bad on you just because you are shorter either! That is a really a classy look, and I am sure you will be beautiful in anything!
I love 3/4 sleeves. I'm short and plus sized on top and I try to find tops that are 3/4 length. A) I'm always hot, even in winter B) I like the look and C) I like to kid myself it makes me look taller because my sleeves don't reach my wrists ;) Kidding on that one. I think they'll look great! I would try to stick with an A Line dress though so it defines your waist, which will keep you from feeling like you look like a white box.
I think that the 3/4-length sleeve would look good just the way it is in the picture. =) If you did decide to go with another dress, I would suggest cap sleeves (but getting very close to a T-shirt sleeve). Since you're getting married in the early fall, I would not recommend long, tight sleeves made from any material but lace, since it will probably be HOT.
3/4 length would be great. However, I have a plus size family member who wore cap sleeves, and I have to say that it looked great on her. The sleeves were wide enough to not cut into her, but small enough to show a little skin and not look sausagy (her concern... we all thought she looked great in a number of different sleeve lengths)!
I love both the 3/4 sleeves and cap sleeves.
I wore 3/4 sleeves for my ceremony and cap for my reception! ;-)
I think the trick to cap sleeves is to leave them draped and comfortable!
If you like Pronovias Dalmacia and Nereida, you might also like this full lace dress with 3/4 sleeves from their 2010 collection called Chiara.
It is my favorite dress, but the other ones you posted are also nice. I have tried on Nereida, and it looked great on me. I have a full figure too, and it did wonders for it. The lace sleeves are especially beautiful.
