I voted for the princess cut with blue stones as well.  I think the princess cut sparkles more than the emerald cut, and the blue adds a point of difference as there are already a lot of diamonds!

I voted for the first one with the blue diamonds, it is the most unique out of the options.

Umm…  I think that each of those rings has far too many little diamonds.  I do think mixing in other colorful stones helps break up up the setting, so you can really see the details.

I’m an emerald cut girl. Normally, whenever anyone asks if they should get an emerald cut, I’m all over recommending it, until they suggest getting and emerald cut with a halo. Emerald cuts are always beautiful, but I always feel that the halo takes away from their beauty.  I could be wrong, but I think people who want to add halos to an emerald cut don’t fully appreciate the beauty of it, because they want to add a different kind of sparkle.  (Okay… off my soapbox.)

I vote for the first one with the blue stones.

Loribeth:  Couldn’t agree with you more. Emerald cuts definitely don’t need a halo.
