I would do escort cards for name/food and leave the frames generic as a favor. Maybe you could print a sticker with instructions and put it on the back?

My friend did this for her wedding. She made them into the table cards (I.e. “John smith, table 8). And included a blurb about keeping the frame for the photobooth. You could say to keep it at your table to mark your seat during dinner, and write in different color inks (or use different color paper) to indicate entree.

edit: they were all on a table before entering the reception room so each guest found theirs and took it in with them.

you could make the inside card different colors (your wedding colors) so that the server knows the food selection for each guest. how many different meal options are there? If you did it this way, then each person would need their name on it. 

there are lots of cute sayings if you google ‘photobooth frame favors’
