i like the colors you have there - maybe stick in a primary color palette - if you did those royal blue shoes, you could wear a cute little cropped yellow cardigan, little red stud earrings, stuff like that :) With what i have at home, i'd pair that with a red tight cardigan and black shoes and a yellow purse.
The red shoes are adorable! How about a cute red bolero to match? A cotton one, not a fancy fabric. I'm not really into the whole matchy-matchy look, so I'd go with a clutch in a contrasting color, maybe a bright blue/turquoise. With all that going on, I'd keep the jewelry simple. Some thin, organic-looking hoops or some type of studs. Maybe a necklace, maybe not. If you don't go with the bolero, you could wear a brightly colored fabric necklace. I've seen some on Etsy recently.
I can't tell - is the dress blue and white or black and white? Either way, I like the red shoes a lot. Super cute. I think you should wear a cute cardigan sweater - maybe a 3/4 length sleeve. I need to know what color the dress actually is. Since the dress is patterned, I'd keep it relatively simple with jewelry. Maybe a bangle type bracelet and some drop earrings or studs. And a cute purse is always a must.
Sorry! I meant to put that in the description, the dress is black and white
@melissa- ooo I really like the idea of yellow! ill have to see if i have a yellow card
Oh so beautiful! I don't really "accessorize" a whole lot, I normally wear some pearl or diamond earrings with this diamond necklace my FI got me. As for bracelets and fashion rings, I'll wear a big white or black ring, or a *fake* big diamond ring on your left hand. Since it's Valentines Day Dinner, I think the red pumps would be SO cute.
If you're wearing those pumps, maybe you could go with a red bracelet with some simple earrings/necklace.
Good luck! I know it'll look great :)
This would be cute with the red shoes (I like to be somewhat matchy matchy)
Any easy fashionizing rule I use is to accessorize a neutral base outfit with accessories of one contrasting color or of the same neutral(s). Yellow, red, or blue would look adorable with this dress! So if you did yellow, any accessories could be black, white, or yellow. Yellow cardigan, black pumps, black headband.... I think you've got a mountain of possibilities. Very cute dress.
Yeah, I was thinking something like that! where did you find that?
I just did a google image search of "red bolero" - sorry I forgot to look and see where it came from.
Love it!! Red or blue shoes will be great! I would prob do the red shoes and a dark blue chunky necklace or bracelet :)
I like Kittyachi's suggestion with the red shoes (would be super cute for V-day)

These are just some ideas, and I definitely wouldn't wear them all together!
Ooo good idea! I love pearls.
@mouse- I love that bolero, its amazing!
I would do red, im not crazy about blue shoes with that dress. I would do a shoe thats more of a true red, that one looks a little pinkish to me.
Also I wouldnt wear a red sweater and matching red shoes its a little too matchy matchy for me, thats just my opinion.
So, If I do the red shoes, what color sweater should I wear? Black?
I suggest black cardigan and red shoes. What type of fabric is the dress made of?
I would do black so the red shoe is just a pop of color like this : I know shes not wearing a sweater, I just mean how her shoes are the only red thing so they pop.
I'd definitely do red shoes - the blue suede is a little close to navy for my liking with that dress. Alternately, you could do black shoes (maybe something fun, like patent leather) and a red cardigan/pashmina.
Love the dress. I would do a black cardigan and a skinny red belt with the red shoes. I'd keep the rest pretty neutral - black or white clutch (you could get away with a red brooch on a black or white clutch). Black beads or pearls. and black tights.

@misschirpie- I got it at modcloth.com
do yall think these shoes are too chunky?? I would get them in pink suede

OK, so I guess you could call me fashionably challenged. I mean, I can put a basic outfit together for the most part, but for work I wear a uniform so there goes that!
Anyways I need your help accessorizing this dress! I am planning to wear this dress for Valentines dinner (early, yes I know. what can I say? I'm a planner...)
I was thinking about wearing some cute suede pumps with it...maybe blue or red, but i need help with everything else like....
-Jewelry
-a sweater of some sort (or maybe you think it would look better without)
-accessories (purse, headband, any other cute ideas!)
-shoes (maybe you have a better idea for shoes)
So, thanks in advance. I have been dying to get home from work to post this cause I'm hopeless lol!
