Do it! I'm about to move from the US to the UK and I'm SO excited. Being young is the time when you're supposed to have grand adventures! Even if you end up back in Canada eventually, you'll have some fun stories to tell your grandkids.
Move! I love living in my area, PDX, and I think the US, for the most part is a great place to live. Let's leave politics out of this. ;)
Besides, moving is so exciting! It's a pain but there is nothing more refreshing than a clean start and sometimes that's just what we need. Moving to Hawaii was one of the best things I ever did, and when the time was right moving back to Oregon was the second best thing.
Good luck!
Thanks everyone for the support!! It just feels like such a huge decision.
My fiance and I are getting married next week and then moving to Salt Lake City, Utah at the end of the month! It's scary and sad because we'll miss all kinds of family events and babies growing up, BUT we're excited for the adventure.
Plus, San Diego is beautiful!
Give it a shot. If you don't like it you can always move back again!
I too am an engineer seeking work in San Diego. I will be moving there in a couple of weeks from Florida. This is definitely the right time to make a move like this! Besides, think of it this way, when you get down there, you will already know at least 1 Bee who survived the move! :)

I need some serious help now. My dad's contact thinks he could likely get me a job in San Diego, no problem. Now we actually have to make a decision because I need to let him know when I am interested in moving.
My husband wants to do it, but I am scared!! It's a huge deal. It's really far from home and it's risky. We would be selling our house and moving into an apartment, it would be a big change. At the same time it would be such an adventure.
What do you think bees? Help me make a decision!!!
