I am planning to sing a song to my fiancé after our first dance. I have looked at a lot of songs and I finally found one that had the sound, meaning and words that I wanted, well almost all of the words. The song written by Bob Dylan that has recently been covered by Adele, Make you feel my love. If you haven’t heard it, listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0put0_a–Ng
However, there are a few lines in the song that have more of a feeling of someone trying to convince someone to be with them and of course, I don’t want to convey that. Below are the verses that I need to change. The ones that have stricken through are the original lines and the lines underlined are what I was thinking of singing. Please give me your feedback and get creative and give me some idea of what else would work!
Thanks so much!
I know you Haven’t made Your mind up yet
I know you never had to doubt it yet But I would never Do you wrong I’ve known it From the moment That we met No doubt in my mind Where you belong
The storms are raging On the rolling sea And on the highway of regret
My love for you is larger than the sea And you, I never could regret The winds of change Are blowing wild and free You ain’t seen nothing Like me yet
