yum that sounds good..I have a great recipe for some super easy truffles, maybe I should buy some cute boxes and make those..
I love the idea of giving something that you made. I think that makes it much more sentimental and special for the receiver. I think truffles or a box of cookies or brownies (packaged nicely and tied with a pretty bow) are a great gift! I have some gift ideas on my blog, both hostess gifts ideas and DIY gift ideas. I gave the two BM's that hosted my shower really cute bathrobes (the kimono, waffle style) with their initials embroidered in them---- they have both recently gotten married, so I thought it was fun to give them a bathrobe with their NEW initials on it. I did fun colors that went well together (pink and green for one, and light blue with hot pink for the other). Then I included a thank-you card that said... You made my shower really special! I wanted to give you a little something to help make your "shower" special in return. 
The robes are $40 on the knot.com...
Or if you have a large group of girls hosting it for you... maybe a similar idea, but with shower gels/scrubs from bath & body works.
Orrr.... Another idea that my friend had, was getting the girls Umbrellas with their initials on them. You will always need an umbrella.. and this goes with the whole corny "shower" tie in. LOL
For one shower I hosted, the bride gave us little Bath & Body works bags w/ lip balm and some other small travel size thing. It was a nice thought.

My MOH is planning my "surprise" shower...and I know it's being co-hosted by 9 people (!), but she won't tell me WHO. I want to get a small token of my gratitude for each of the hosts but have no idea what.
Flowers just don't do it for me..
