I think you will absolutely be able to find this. We got a fabulous suit for our best man at Lord and Taylor. They had some great stuff!

@Jellybones: No advice, but I just wanted to say I hope you figure it out, because that is a beautiful suit!

According to Google it’s a Billy Reid suit and yep, definitely out of budget. Search around for a tweed suit, I’m positive you’ll find something you like.

You’ll probably have some difficulty finding a 3-piece tweed suit in that price range. Your best bet might be looking for vintage since you have so much time.

J.Crew has something slightly out of your price point, but you could wait for a sale. (jacket, trousers)

Also, if you are having all the groomsmen wear tweed suits, I would STRONGLY (more strongly than usual) suggest not having them match. There are so many great tweeds out there, and tweed is a casual suiting fabric, so matching doesn’t really make sense.

@Jellybones:  You should be able to find someone locally who sends out MtM suits in that price range, but you`re probably looking at $700-$900 for a three-piece.

For that kind of look, however, I would give vintage, thrift, and consignment stores a good scouring on a monthly, or weekly, basis.  eBay is also full of stuff.  There are lots of guys selling things on clothing forums as well, like Style Forum, and Ask Andy About Clothes.  Find something vintage in good shape, and spend the money having a tailor make it look perfect.

I KNOW JUST THE PLACE!!!

DH bought his wedding suit from here, and it was gorgeous. We only trusted it because his friend had bought a suit and said that he loved it. The only drawback to the suits, according to the boys, is that they make their other suits less appealing. DH is thinking about buying a tux too, just for fun, and he’s going to order 3 more pair of pants this week. My cousin is planning on buying a blue tux from them for his wedding. If you’re in Calgary, AB, you may even be able to catch the travelling tailor- they have a shop set up downtown this week where you can check out the stuff in person.

It might also be a good idea to check online reviews of all the sites you get, to help decide which one is right for you.

Anyways! Here is the link:

@Fizzy8:  I would order a fabric sample, if you can.  I have heard mixed things from indochino, and tweed is probably a less common one for them, and it’s hard to tell from online.
