i think that's already cute, "change the date." :) then include all of the updated information. if you have a website, you can add more details.
I like the wording "chance the date" as well. Since your date is moving up (not back) you could mention something along the lines of how you two just couldn't wait to be married, so you moved your date up...one whole day!
It might also be cute to use the same save the dates cards, with just the words changed.
Good luck!
I second everyone else: that sounds adorable that you couldn't wait to be married!
BUT as a graphic designer I would be cautious of making the change-the-date that same as the old save the date. People might think they are getting another copy by mistake and just disgard it without reading it or noticing the date change. I would make them look similar though, for example, if your save the date were white with teal text, flip that and have the change the date be teal with white text. Hope that helps!
I couldn't see what you had but how about:
We're so impatient we are changing the date!
We are celebrating one day earlier on Friday, August 1st!
Please save our date again and help us celebrate!
I think those are all great ideas, I don't know if you included the venue on the original save the date, but maybe include the new one? Just so you don't have people showing up to an empty building!
To marry eachother
we just couldn't wait!
We decided we had to......
CHANGE THE DATE!
Please mark your calendars and join us on our new wedding date of AUGUST 1, 2008
At our new venue: Our Hearts are a Throbbin Wedding Chapel
We are having to change our wedding date (move it up a month) because my FH is in the Army and just found out that he is being stationed overseas. Our save-the-dates just went out last week...I love the cute little poem that July2008bride posted. Our save-the-dates included a poem, so this is perfect for our "change the dates."
