Instead of using birdseed/rice/petals/wtc, we're giving each guest a bell to ring.. I want to attach a little note, so they know what to do with them. I know the bell things don't go over well (like when you want people to ring them for B & G to kiss)

I was thinking of: "Ring in the bride and groom"

They are supposed to be ringing them when we walk back down the isle. What do you think, can you think of anything better??

Are you doing programs? You could add details in them if you are. Not sure anyone will really know what to do with the bells. It's a very sweet idea! I hope you guys can make it work, sounds amazing.

That's a good idea! Myabe we can put that on the back at the very end or something.

We're going to put them on each seat, so that everyone definitely HAS them, and realizes they are not normal favors, but something for the ceremony. I hope people get the hint.

I was a bridesmaid for a friend who did this.  Right before the ceremony, she had 2 of her little cousins (about 8 or 10 yrs old i guess) go around with the bells baskets and hand them out and tell the ppl to ring them at the end.  It was a nice way to incorporate them since they weren't officially in the wedding party....

She didn't put any words on them, just a bow in her colour.  and don't worry noone rung them during church, and it was really unique
