Barbados is great, I would highly recommend it. My FI would go there for our honeymoon if we hadn’t already been!!

Just wanted to say that it sucks you can’t come to Mexico because the scuba in Cozumel is A-MA-ZING!  And I’ve heard that from people who have done it all over the world.  Out of the ones you listed I’ve only been to Jamaica, but you really can’t go wrong with the Caribbean.  I went to Bora Bora and we had an incredible time on the scuba down there, however there was not much live coral (they told us that it was because of an hurracaine a couple of years ago), however I’ve also heard some really good things about Fiji (and I just so a good deal on groupon for Fiji today)  🙂

    Good luck!

    I say St. Lucia.

I’m a little biased, because that’s where FI and I are honeymooning. We picked St. Lucia over Jamaica, for example, because we are in college and our wedding/honeymoon will be over spring break. We wanted to avoid the scads of spring breakers/vacationers that head over to Jamaica every year.

I voted for Fiji. June is during the wet season in the Carribean, whereas if you go to Fiji, south of the equator, it’s the dry season and Fiji is far enough north that it’s beautiful weather all year long 🙂

I’ve been to the caymans a number of times – it’s beautiful and great for scuba diving however there isn’t much to do outside of that.

    Have you considered Costa Rica?

@mjwyatt84:  have you checked out belize?  the 2nd largest coral reef runs along the coast of mexico, belize and honduras.  i would initially suggest cozumel but since you don’t want to go to mexico, i would suggest belize.

belize has a number of adventureous things to do as well.  also, google the blue hole in belize.  if you like to scuba dive, you will definitely want to go there.

BORA BORA!!!!  Or anywhere else in French Polynesia!  We went to to Bora Bora and Moorea for our honeymoon and it was beautiful!  I have been to 3 island in Hawaii and French Polynesia puts Hawaii to shame.

I voted St Lucia as FI and I have been three times and loved it, we are both avid scuba divers and plan our holidays around where there is good diving to be had. There is also loads to do on land in St Lucia, the people are lovely and the food is fantastic.

If you do go to St Lucia, the dive company Dive Fair Helen are absolutely brilliant, best diver leaders we’ve ever been with. Lovely people, great gear and really know all the good spots to see stuff

What about doing a really awesome cruise? You can do all of your zip lining, kayaking, etc as shore excursions?
