I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this coming Fall. The brides MOH (her sister) isn’t planning a bachelorette and the bride does not want a shower. She does want to have a get together with all of the bridesmaids, but it cannot be a traditional bachelorette because she has two bridesmaids under the age of 17 (and she wants them included). I need ideas of what to do! I told her not to worry about it and that I would handle it, but I am feash out of ideas. Help me ladies!

sunshine2016: You could have a spa day, or a just get mani/pedis together, have a nice luncheon or dinner together, do something together like pottery painting, paintball if they are adventurous- basically anything that the bride enjoys doing.

Whereabouts are you located? Is there a cabin or a cottage that someone’s family owns that you could rent/borrow for a weekend or a night? Just have a late summer get together, bbq, drinks for those who consume alcohol and good food.
Depending on what the bride’s hobbies or interests are…could you do a daytime dance class/pottery and wine/horseback riding activity in the day, then a dinner in the evening? The young ones could go home after the dinner and the older bridesmaids could go out to a bar or something.

jlc3: I would love to do a weekend getway for her but I have a feeling I would be the one footing the bill and I can’t afford that right now. I like the pottery & horseback riding ideas…i’m sure I could find some sort of class that we could do together. Thanks!!
