You are beautiful!  I didn’t wear glasses then, but I wore my wavy/curly hair down on our wedding day.

I have a similar amount of curl in my hair, sameish length and I wear glasses!

I’m going for something like a low chignon like this:

I also have brown hair (a little less wavy) and glasses 😀 I am doing a 50s style outfit (due to my dress)

Firstly, with makeup, I wear quite a lot of eye makeup in bright colours and I find wearing glasses means you can go a little more OTT without it consuming your face.  So I say go a little heavier on the eye. Thicker liner? Very understated makeup I think gets a little lost behind glasses.

Hair, maybe half up and down? Before I chose my theme I was looking at these, but with a flower comb… 🙂

@creativeplannertobee:  Your headdress was fab too. Is it a cap with veil attached?

@VictoriaK1990:  Think about your dress too. I have brown curly hair, usually worn half up half down and that was my intention for the big day. Then I bought a dress with a detialed back. so I wore it up. You may want to think about what will compliment your dress.

@LilLis Yes this is true! 🙂 Like I said that was my plan before I found my dress, which is a tea length fluffy thing with hot pink underskirt so now it’s 50s rolls, I think and a birdcage veil! 😀

I know glasses aren’t ideal for photography becasue of the glare, but if you Google “brides with glasses,” and look at the images, there are some beautiful bridese and i think glasses can actually add to the elegant look. 🙂

As far as make-up, make sure you put a lot more on your eyes so you can see it with the glasses on. I suggest heavy eyeliner.
Kinda like this… maybe a bit more:

Were you planning on getting your hair and make-up proffesionally done?

@LilLis:  Yes, unfortunately it got lost, I think someone thought it was trash and threw it away.  🙁  I was hoping that a daughter or granddaughter would wear it one day. It cost more than my gown.  I LOVED it!!

@VictoriaK1990 Awh that sounds lovely! I think you could do anything elegant with your hair (up, down etc) and that would be beautiful 🙂
