im no help - i would be having that thing on my finger before i clicked submit on this post!
BUT - do not try it on, think of how your soon to be FI will feel if when he puts it on your finger isnt the first time, he didnt get to see it happen..... of course i dont listen to my own advise but hopefully you are smarter than i am

if i could have picked 2 I would have picked the 2 on the bottom, get a glas of wine and go to bed! The first time you have it on should be when he puts it on your finger! so leave it alone and dont look at it agian :) Good Luck
I know I should go to bed (with/without wine, lol), but the ring is IN THE BEDROOM. It will basically be staring at me (through the drawer) while I try to fall asleep and not think about the powerful pull of the shiny!! Ahh this is harder than I thought! LOL. I need a MAJOR distraction. The tv didn't work, chocolate didn't work, but maybe the wine will work haha...
I will attempt to go to bed and will check this tomorrow morning for additional perspectives! Thanks ladies!!
Ahhh I'm obsessed!! I couldn't help it, but I had to sneak another look at it last night. I just had to. It was right there. Oh boy, I'm hoping he won't keep the ring to himself much longer :) I can't let it suck me in like this!

Stop looking at it and think about how much more you will love it if you haven't seen it in awhile. I take off my ring before bed and I get so excited to put it on the morning even though it hasn't been that long.

I chose "wine/bed," but I don't really see the harm in looking @ it. You'll obviously be just as excited when he slips it on your finger, which will be very soon, I'm sure. :-)
Oh I'm in exactly the same position!!
I new he had the ring and I found it the other day...I obviously couldn't resist a peek (I'd chosen it so I knew what it looked like) it looks even more beautiful in the "flesh". I did manage to resist trying it on though - I want to wear it for the first time when he proposes as it's so special.
The other thing I found was a load of notes about the engagement; where he's booked, where it'll be and when, but I didn't look - that bit was killing me but I knew if I looked it'd take away the most important part of it for my SO. I suppose the ring is just a sideline for him, it's HOW he does it that he's most excited about.
Anyway, now I know where it is it's going to be super-hard not to make sneaky peeks a regular occurance!
Hope we can both be strong!

Ahhhh!!! My SO left this morning for another work trip and won't be home until Saturday.
I am alone in the apartment...with the ring in the other room.
So I'm not sure how to link to my previous post, but I basically "stumbled upon" what I think is my completed ring this evening :):) I have looked at it twice so far within about 7 hours, and it is killing me!!! I want to look again!! Maybe MAYBE even try it on!!! Eeeeeeekk!! What do I do???? If I wasn't already obsessing about rings/proposals/marriage, I sure as hell am now!!
