1) What do you think of using short lace dress like the one below for a beach/outdoor wedding?
2) What do you think of using Alfred Sung’s bridesmaid collection (for my bridesmaids) for a beach/outdoor wedding?
3) Now this is my plan B for super simple small wedding: what do you think of using a white bridesmaid dress as a wedding dress?
EDIT: Or maybe even a coloured one!
Thanks a lot!

All of those options seem reasonable to me! I think you should do what will be comfortable and within your budget, and wear what looks pretty!

I agree! Everything you’ve suggested is fine. The dresses you’ve pictured are beautiful, by the way. I really like the wedding dress!

I think both dresses are pretty and would work for a beach wedding.

I absolutely LOVE that lace dress. It is gorgeous. (Where is it from, if you don’t mind my asking?)
I really like a lot of Alfred Sung dresses. I think that line would be good for the type of wedding you’re talking about!
Using a white (or colored) bridesmaid dress is a good idea, especially if you’re trying to save money. That can be a great option if you’re not looking for something super traditional!

I love that dress for a beach wedding! It’s gorgeous, and perfect for that.
I do really like the bridesmaid dresses, especially the shape of it. I think I’d avoid it personally, though, since I just can’t imagine how they could ever wear it again anywhere. I think that large bow makes it hard to re-purpose.

That white lace dress is beautiful! Great for a beach wedding, but still has a very bridal feel.

@Ms Bookworm: It’s from Marchesa.

I think your selection looks just fine! And that lace-y dress… *sighs*

Wow that lace dress is gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. My only comment is that I don’t know your figure, but the dress seems very unforgiving.
As for the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, super cute. And I think using a different white or colored, non-“bridal” dress is a great way to go!

@kate02121: I already tried a very very similar dress and it was gorgeous on me, At least that’s what I thought.
