Wedding is in 29 days! Woohoo!!
We live in MN and are getting married in NC. Also, school starts for me on Sept 7th so my “free” time will be severely limited. I’ve knocked a lot of projects out the past couple weeks (programs, escort cards, ordered food, table layouts, seating chart(ugh!)).
My centerpieces are non-floral – well, there are some silk floral elements (I’ll post a pic when I get on the desktop-I’m on the blackberry). I’m wondering if I could assemble all of my centerpieces and the day of, they just need to be unpacked, maybe spruced up, and water & candles added.
Can I assemble it all now and put it away in a box until then??

I’d be careful of your silk florals being damaged in the trek to NC personally. Maybe assemble everything but them?

It depends on how you are using the silk florals. I will wait for the pic.

Ok, this pic represents my overall thinking…
Tallest vase has artifical greens (I’m not even sure what that it is, I just loved the color), green berry branch (artificial), clear ‘stones’, and a small floating candle.
Next in height has artificial apples (love the color)
last has been replaced with a small vase filled with dark grey river rock and a silk green orchid.
The green circles are 1 1/2′ cardstock punches with our wedding date 10.2.10 written in white Sharpie.
I plan on submerge the leaves, etc by glueing them to the bottom of the vase. My thinking was that I could fill the mid vases with the apples and pack em in a box. The taller ones I could put the beads/plant in and the white stones and pack em up. The last one I can fill in the river rock and the orchid.
For the tallest and smallest, water will be added at the time and then the floating candle.
So, what do you think?

Yes. You can do all that ahead of time.
Be sure that you have the original box the vases came in or a divided box- like a wine box-so the vases don’t get scratched -or broken- banging against each other.
