@cestvrai:  I am wearing a less dress (August Jones Jessie), but unfortunately (for you AND me), it wasn’t under $150. I don’t have a pic of it on me, but this is a pic from the designer’s website. In my humble opinion, it goes great with my lace fit and flare dress – sort of adds a sparkly vintage vibe to it. I’m having it sewn onto the dress, and the remaining ribbon will be used to wrap by bouquet.

No bonus points for me as mine was $300 (although the bottom of my dress IS lace, just not pictured) but I just loved the shape of my crystal belt and decided to sell my dress but keep the belt for a keepsake and to wear on our anniversaries maybe, so I think it was worth it!

I have an all-over lace gown and I’m starting a small mockup of my sash today to practice beading!  I looked all over for a sash but I cannot believe how expensive they are, plus, I like ones that are uniform in sparkle/beading – not intricate floral designs.  I also only like pearls, glass beads, and VERY subtle rhinestones … I really wanted it to look creamy, not metallic.  Most sashes I’ve seen look way too silver/rhinestone-y to me.  SO, I’m doing it DIY following this bee’s instructions!

So far I only have on the seed beads and I have sewn on a few pearls, but it looks VERY nice.  I need to purchase a higher quality fabric glue for the seed beads, though.
